Handmade means variation, and variation means your piece will not be identical to the photograph. Height can differ by a centimetre, glaze tone shifts between batches, and rims carry the potter's marks.
We think that is the appeal, but we would rather set the expectation clearly than have it arrive as a surprise. If you would prefer perfect consistency, our pressed and moulded shapes are the better choice.
