Candles
We stock unscented candles on purpose. Candlelight usually appears where there is already fragrance in the room — flowers, cooking, a diffuser — and a strong scent competes with all of it.
The wax is a plant-based blend with cotton wicks, which burns more evenly and with noticeably less soot than paraffin.

Getting an even burn
Trim the wick to 5mm before every burn and let the first burn run for a full hour so the melt pool reaches the outer edge. Draughts, not wax quality, cause most tunnelling and dripping.
